FAQ

What is CC?

The first anonymous community where wedding Creatives trade curated for candid. No algorithms to chase, no reputations to protect; just raw industry insights.

Who can sign up?

Photographers, Videographers, Florists, and Planners in the wedding industry. Right now, sign up requires a business domain email for official verification. We will extend email options in the future.

Why Only Photographers, Videographers, Florists, and Planners?

These four Creatives shape how a wedding looks, feels, and is remembered. They share similar industry experiences and expectations, keeping conversations focused and relevant.

How anonymous is it, really?

Your activity is anonymous to other users. There are no public profiles or visible identities attached to posts or interactions, and chatroom usernames are randomized. Like any platform, CC retains the ability to identify accounts when reasonably required for safety, enforcing Community Guidelines, maintaining platform security, or legal compliance. This access is restricted and is not used to actively monitor your activity. Your identity is not visible to other users, moderators reviewing content, or anyone viewing the public feeds. That said, be thoughtful about the details you share in posts and conversations. Anonymity protects your identity, not the specifics of your stories.

How does posting work?

Creatives can make posts and CC the Creative(s) they’re speaking to. Posts begin in “New,” where community likes help determine what gets published to the public feed. Posts that do not meet the threshold are removed. Users can also quote posts to continue the conversation.

What is the Couples feed?

It’s where Creatives can provide insight and advice directly to Couples planning their weddings. Posts supported by community likes are published to the public feed.

What can I post?

We welcome hot takes, honest perspectives, and candid conversations about the wedding industry, your experiences, and the work. The goal is to have fun and keep this space focused on the industry, not the heaviness and chaos of the internet. To maintain quality, we’re not here for broader social or political debates, bullying, or self-promotion. When sharing your experiences with collaborators, educators, or platforms, honest criticism is welcome, especially when money or expectations are involved. The same applies to experiences involving clients. Intention and tone matter. We believe in professional accountability and your right to speak on negative experiences or poor practices, not personal attacks or humiliation. Moderation helps keep this a space people actually want to be in, and our approach will continue evolving as the community grows. Let’s escape the overwhelm, not add to it. For more detail, please refer to the Community Guidelines.

How do chatrooms work?

Once a post is published, users can open a chatroom to discuss it. Chatrooms remain active for a period of time. After that, no new chatrooms can be created for that post.

How do referrals work?

Creatives can find their referral code in their profile. By sharing this code with other wedding Photographers, Videographers, Florists, and Planners, they will receive referral points. For signing up, all users receive 1 point. A user's first referral will earn a 0.5 point increase for each Creative who signs up using their code, for up to 7 Creatives. Points will unlock future features and benefits. More details coming soon.
